Fantasy Football is supposed to be fun. Please remember that. When you play the game, you’re playing a game. This is a game we play, just like athletes play on the field. If you feel the need to @ a player on twitter because they lost you a fantasy week, then maybe this game isn’t for you. We will offer you our best advice each week based upon matchups, weather, projections... a number of factors go into why we rank players where we do. I put in just as much work as the ESPN and NFL guys, you just don’t see my face on TV. You can listen to me, not listen to me... but please read the stories and always feel free to @ me on Twitter. Whether you hate what I have to say or love it. I will make every effort to respond.
Each week throughout the season, a weekly rankings will come out late Wednesday and be updated on Saturday. Except when the Saturday games begin, then it’ll be before those games start.. At the end of the day, you choose who you start, not me. You choose who to draft, you choose your team name and what funny antidote to make fun of someone or something. You have the freedom over your team. I have the freedom over these words. Don’t blame me or Aaron Rodgers if he is ranked #1 one week and has a terrible game, things happen. You can be mad that you lost a game… but remember this is just a game. Yea, sure, most of you reading this are playing for money and that adds a little flavor to your toast… but there are more important things in life than fantasy football. Life has taught me that this is a game, the NFL is a game, the High School baseball team that I coach… it’s just a game. Sitting at home watching the Broncos with my family with my daughter on my lap… that’s life. Having a traditional shot of Jameson with my parents and wife before the first Broncos game each year, that’s life.
I’ve made friendships and burned bridges on twitter over fantasy football, but it’s all people I’ve never met and don’t know. The Lion doesn’t worry about the opinions of sheep. I am in no way a Lion, but if you call me an idiot on twitter every week I’m also not going to care.
I really hope you read through your league settings and find out the rules and scoring systems, especially if you’re in a different league or playing with a different group this year. I have ran into it in the past where people come up with questions in Week 7, that are clearly written in the rules but just haven’t come up yet and are upset about it. It’s not your league managers fault that you didn’t read the rules.
I will write my stories and rankings based upon PPR format, which is by far the most popular format on ESPN. If you have non-PPR question please by all means https://twitter.com/KingScally or https://twitter.com/IBNincarcerated. We make every effort to respond to everyone. Bob has hundreds of questions sent his way each day, so you may be better off getting an answer from me, but you may also want his advice and not mine. Whichever is fine. We’re not always on the same page too. He may think one guy is better than another. Just like Field Yates will have different rankings that The Talented Mr. Roto himself. We all have our own opinions, these stories are mine. Please read, enjoy and take everything I write with a grain of scallywag... I’m here for the season, be sure to tip your waitress and tell me how wrong I am on Twitter. I appreciate when readers point out mistakes, because I’m human and they happen. I don’t appreciate being called an idiot for my opinions, but I’m 35, I can handle it. And we can discuss on twitter. I won’t block anyone… but we can debate all day if you want. I welcome it.
With that being said… here is this year's FIRST EDITION (to change at least twice) top 150. And this was written before the Cutler news and depending when published and if Zeke gets suspended that too…
Top 150 overall PPR. I am not including DST or kickers, draft who you want in your last two rounds. I was going to do top 200, but seriously after 150 were just taking a shot in the dark at someone at that point, or you know which sleeper you want, which QB you’re after. In a 10 team league it should be just DST and Kickers left anyways and in 12 team leagues just a bench guy or a flyer. Check out the overall position rankings for further.

I am going to be a huge Jay Cutler fan and the Miami offense will rival New England and Pittsburgh this year.
A lot of this list will change as injuries will happen, depth chart moves and pre-season play. I’ll update after every pre-season week. This is so early, it's August 8th and one pre-season game has been played. People have drafts all the time and they want information. Here is your ever changing information.
