It's been a while since we've heard Kaepernick speak on anything. Should he hold a press conference or do a TV interview to express his desire to play football again?

Since Colin Kaepernick lost his starting QB job to Blaine Gabbert last year, he's started a protest/media firestorm when he kneeled during the National Anthem before games, trying to shed light on a subject people like to avoid....Police brutality towards black people. It started during the preseason & continued during the regular season. Colin during training camp wore socks depicting cops as pigs.

He's even gotten support from his girlfriend Nessa Diab & other NFL players around the league like Packers TE Martellus Bennett, Eagles SS Malcolm Jenkins & most players for the Seattle Seahawks including WR Doug Baldwin, DE Michael Bennett & CB Richard Sherman. Musicians like J. Cole & Trey Songz have supported him as well.

He's also gotten his fair share of criticism as well....whether it's polls from Yahoo voting on not coming to games, Supreme Court Judge Ruth Bader Ginsberg calling his protest "disrespectful" or co-host of FS1's TV show Speak For Yourself Jason Whitlock who's talked a lot about this subject, nothing he's said comes close to support.

FS1 host of radio show The Herd & TV show Speak For Yourself Colin Cowherd did support Colin Kaepernick on his protest when he understood the meaning behind it, now lately he's become impatient with Kaepernick because he hasn't talked about whether he wants to continue playing football. Colin Kaepernick is currently on the free agent market.

"I don't have a problem with his protest at all, my question is how does it land for owners? He's a backup QB. If I'm an owner & he's my backup, I look at this & think...Good God. It looked like Baltimore was uniquely interested in him, then his public girlfriend made a comment about owners. Miami appeared to be somewhat interested, had he not worn a Fidel Castro t-shirt."

"I like my quarterbacks to have strong opinions. One of my primary criticisms of Colin Kaepernick is hey bro....heard you want to be a quarterback, why don't you tell somebody? I don't need columnists & Spike Lee talking for you. Quarterbacks walk into a huddle and are the only ones who talk, want to show me your leadership? Want to show an owner your leadership? Maybe you want to open your mouth one time in the last year, not do politics on Instagram. Are you a football guy, are you a quarterback? TALK!!!"
