Who's the one team in need of a win going into week 2?

Week 2 starts tonight when the 0-1 Texans & 0-1 Bengals meet up in Cincinnati. Both teams' offenses were nowhere to be found combined to score just 7 points, turn it over 9 times & allowed 15 sacks. 1st round pick Deshaun Watson will make his 1st career start after throwing 12 of 23, 102 yards, 1 TD & 1 INT (Sacked 4 times & fumbled once) last week vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars in relief of Tom Savage who threw 7 of 13 for 62 yards (Sacked 6 times & fumbled twice) before he got benched at halftime. This will be Bill O'Brien's 16th QB change since he's been the head coach in 2014, 9 QB's in total. Players on their defense like JJ Watt, Jadeveon Clowney & Johnathan Joseph....that does them no favors knowing your offense isn't good enough to sustain drives and give your defense a rest. It's a must-win for Houston tonight cause their next 3 games after this are @ New England next Sunday, home against Tennessee in week 4 & home against the Chiefs in week on Sunday Night Football. All 3 games are potential losses, it can go real bad real fast if Houston doesn't win tonight.

Cincinnati going into tonight's game is looking to at least score some points after being blanked at home by their division rival Baltimore Ravens 20-0. Andy Dalton played his worst game ever last week throwing 16 of 31, 170 yards, 4 INT's, 1 lost fumble & was sacked 5 times. I didn't watch the game but looking at the stats, Andy was probably getting booed all throughout the game. There was nothing positive to takeaway from week 1. I think Cincinnati needs to get off to a fast start, if they go through the 1st quarter or half scoreless showing no ability to move the ball, Bengals fans will likely be chanting "Put A.J. in" referring to backup QB A.J. McCarron.

0-1 Chicago Bears take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa on Sunday. The Bucs didn't play last week because their opening game vs. the Dolphins was postponed due to Hurricane Irma. Chicago lost to the Falcons 23-17 but they didn't look that bad last week against Atlanta. If they didn't give up an 88-yard TD (Matt Ryan to Austin Hooper) or Jordan Howard doesn't drop a wide open 2nd & goal pass on the 1-yard line with 12 seconds left down by 6, Chicago would've won that game. But instead they play a Bucs team fresh off a mandated bye week. If they don't win on Sunday....their next 3 games are home vs. Pittsburgh, @ Packers on Sunday Night Football & home vs. Minnesota on Monday Night Football. Rough slate of games ahead if Chicago doesn't beat the Bucs.

0-1 Cleveland Browns take on the 1-0 Baltimore Ravens. I don't really call this a must-win for Cleveland cause they didn't have any expectations going into this season, the fact that they hung with the Steelers all throughout the game was impressive enough. Rookie QB Deshone Kizer shown some promise in his 1st career start (20 of 30, 220 yards, 1 TD pass, 1 INT & 1 TD run. Sacked 7 times) but now he has a much bigger task going up against the only defense in the NFL to pitch a shutout in week 1 in his 1st career road start.

0-1 Arizona Cardinals take on the 0-1 Indianapolis Colts in Indy. Arizona's looking for someone to step up after their do everything RB David Johnson dislocated his left wrist last week @ the Lions & will miss 2-3 months. Kerwynn Williams will fill in David's absence but guys like Larry Fitzgerald & John Brown are gonna be counted on to do more until Johnson gets back in December. I'm not sure if Carson Palmer has anything left in the tank to be honest, he's 38 years old coming off a bad year last year & started this season throwing 3 INT's (1 returned for a TD). The Colts on the other hand are a complete mess. Andrew Luck won't be playing for a while, no run game, they're only threat at WR is Ty Hilton & their defense is bad with or without Vontae Davis. This season will be a rough one for Colts fans everywhere.

0-1 Patriots will meet up with the 0-1 Saints in the Superdome. It's a must-win for New England cause since Brady & Belichick have been there, I don't think the Patriots have started a season 0-2. They've had all the time in the world to fix up that defense who gave up 42 points & 537 yards of offense on opening night last Thursday. If they look as bad as they did that night against Drew Brees on Sunday, there will be questions that need to be answered. The Saints need to win cause they've had a recent history of slow starts....starting 0-2 & 0-3 a couple of times to start the season. Losing on Sunday will repeat this recent history.

0-1 Tennessee Titans go to Jacksonville to play the 1-0 Jaguars. Tennessee only managed to score 16 points last week against an Oakland defense who most people say isn't that good, now Marcus Mariota will play vs. a Jags defense who had 10 sacks, forced 4 turnovers & scored a touchdown. Demarco Murray has to be a focal point, 12 carries for 44 yards isn't gonna get it done against anybody. Tennessee's next 3 games after this one is home vs. Seattle next week, @ Houston week 4 & @ Miami in week 5. They gotta win on Sunday or else they could start the season 0-3 or worse.

0-1 LA Chargers play their home debut against the Dolphins. LA started slow vs. the Broncos trailing 24-7 to start the 4th quarter on Monday Night. They rallied to score 14 unanswered points but fell short 24-21 after Younghoe Koo's 44-yard game-tying FG was blocked with 1 second left. This is why Philip Rivers said this week the offense needs to start faster. If they can take that 4th quarter momentum into Sunday's game, that won't be a problem at all. Last season, the Dolphins beat the what was San Diego Chargers after Rivers threw 4 INT's in the 4th quarter.

0-1 Jets go to Oakland to play the Raiders. I will keep this one short & sweet, the Jets will lose this game probably by 10-15 points. They might not win a game all season, their best shot that I can see them winning a game is @ Cleveland week 5 & week 9 vs. Buffalo on Thursday Night Football....that's about it.

0-1 Redskins go to LA to take on the 1-0 Rams. Kirk Cousins has to play better if he wants to convince Washington to sign him to a long term deal, throwing another red zone INT & fumbling twice including one ran back for the game-ending TD by Fletcher Cox isn't gonna do him any favors. Terrelle Pryor being a good teammate saying "put the blame on me" but let's be real, Kirk Cousins must be better. Washington's next 2 games after this are home against the Raiders in week 3 & @ the Chiefs on Monday Night in week 4. Starting off 1-3 or 0-4 in the NFC East spells doom if they have plans on winning the division.

0-1 San Francisco 49ers vs. 1-0 Seattle Seahawks. San Fran is giving me a NY Jets type of vibe, not a lot of talent on either side of the ball & both teams are starting old QB's (Brian Hoyer & Josh McCown) who haven't gone anywhere in their careers. Brian will be making his 1st start in Seattle on Sunday, knowing how QB's have played in Seattle over the past 4-5 years....it's gonna be a long day for Brian & the 49ers.

0-1 NY Giants play their home debut on Monday Night vs. the Lions. The Giants looked awful offensively only scoring 3 points, only gaining 233 yards of offense & converting 4/12 on 3rd down last Sunday night vs. the Cowboys. Eli Manning telling everyone to "take a breath" but he's led an offense that hasn't scored 20 points in 8 straight games, 7 of those games his best WR Odell Beckham Jr was there fully healthy & playing. Odell returned to practice today & all signs look to him playing on Monday. Hopefully for their sake they can find a rhythm offensively, if not I can't see them making the playoffs let alone win the NFC East & that ain't good for Brandon Marshall...a guy who's never made the playoffs in his 13-year career.
