So sorry this is late

Have you ever taken a second, sat down and thought to yourself, man where has the time gone? Have you been overwhelmed because you filled your plate with too much to do? It’ll be satisfying when you eat it all, but before then it can be quite overwhelming. That’s where I am this week in life. I have too much on my plate. I need help spreading it around. Are the Patriots like that? What about the Dolphins? Are the Broncos becoming that way? Can these teams share the wealth? Would you rather own Zeke and Dez or Zeke and Demaryius Thomas simply for the fact that they don’t play for the same team? What about Ajayi and Landy? Or Lynch and Cooper? Do we feel strongly enough to not have a RB and WR on the same team? I know it’s very popular to have a QB and WR from the same team...but what’re your thoughts on RB and WR?

So an hour cleared up in my day and I thought I would throw some more information in here. I had one twitter follower https://twitter.com/BDM_Cle starting Goff, did anyone else? He had the option of Goff or Bradford in a deep league and went Goff. Kudos to him! I believe ESPN said less than 1% of people started either Goff or Hoyer and they both exploded. Another follower Will Murawski said “This year has been impossible to predict...conventional wisdom has meant nothing. I can’t make the right decision so far. I’m done listening to experts. I’m just going to guess from here on out. The 49ers has scored 4 field goals(12 points) through the first two week...I thought the Rams defense would be a lock for 15 points or more.” Boy was that wrong.

I keep hammering home the idea that this isn’t an exact science. That's not an indictment on myself, IBN, ESPN, or NFL people at all. We all put in hours and hours of work each week. We try and take all things into consideration when making ranks/tiers. This truly has been the most dysfunctional fantasy season through 2 weeks since I started covering it 4 years ago. Twitter tough guys are out there, en mass. Please don’t @ a player for a bad game. He doesn’t care about your fantasy team. If you want to @ me and call me an idiot, come with facts to why I’m an idiot.

Twitter blew up before the game as another Thursday Night Football snoozefest and it was anything but. That game was thrilling. You probably started Gurley, Hyde and maybe Cooper Kupp or Sammy Watkins. Murawski, mentioned earlier, sat Watkins in favor of Ameer Abdullah. That's not a bad move on paper. Watkins was ranked 34th WR in week 1 and 75th in week 2 in ESPN standard PPR leagues. We don’t play the game on paper...oh wait yes we do...or an app...but the actual game, which we get our scores from is mostly played on grass..unless you’re Oakland, then you play on the A’s infield. How is that still a thing in 2017?? As a person who used to work turnover for the Columbus Blue Jackets, I think this video of turning the A’s field to the Raiders field is awesome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hn_6rcaPIE.

Each week this year I’ll be streaming a defense that is owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues. Week 1 I picked the Steelers and they ranked #5 overall that week. Week 2 I picked the Buccaneers and they ranked #2 overall. This week i am picking the Dolphins, owned in just 21% of ESPN leagues. Let’s face it, the Jets offense stinks. Miami has so many weapons on offense that NYJ will be forced to abandon the run early and pass, creating INT and scoring opportunities for the Dolphins D!

People seemed to like the tier system more than pure rankings...so we will do that again this week.
