Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens
4:25 PM
Line: BAL -1 (-110)
Total: 37 (-108)

The Steelers are 3-7 SU in their last 10 road games.

The Ravens are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 9 of the Steelers’ last 10 games in the late afternoon.

Pittsburgh News & Notes

The Steelers’ Week 17 injury report is ugly. Mason Rudolph is out with a shoulder injury. Running back James Conner is questionable with a quad injury until the results of his MRI are released. Center Maurkice Pouncey is also questionable with a leg injury. So, it’s very likely the Steelers will start their third-string quarterback and second-string center against the Ravens with the playoffs on the line.

When Mike Tomlin first decided to bench Rudolph and start Devlin “Duck” Hodges, his reasoning was simple: “He hasn’t killed us.” Well, after tossing six interceptions in less than two games, Hodges killed Pittsburgh and Tomlin benched him until Rudolph’s injury.

Whether or not the Steelers can beat the Ravens’ second string will come down to Hodges’ ability to embrace his innner-game manager again. Before losses to the Bills and Jets, he had won four straight while averaging 153.5 pass yards per contest. It’s truly going to take a team effort of Hodges playing mistake-free football, a running back committee churning out some yards and T.J. Watt’s defense getting pressure on Robert Griffin III, forcing multiple turnovers and disrupting the Ravens offense.

The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Pittsburgh's last 7 games.

Pittsburgh are 7-3 SU in their last 10 games.

Pittsburgh are 4-2 SU in their last 6 games against Baltimore.

The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Pittsburgh's last 5 games on the road.

Baltimore News & Notes

John Harbaugh said Monday that Lamar Jackson, Marshal Yanda, Brandon Williams, Mark Ingram and Earl Thomas will NOT play Sunday. So, RG3 gets the start at quarterback and Gus Edwards will be the team’s lead running back.

With Ingram suffering a calf injury against the Browns, Edwards’ top priority is to remain healthy should Ingram suffer a setback in his rehab ahead of the divisional playoff round.

Baltimore are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Baltimore's last 6 games.

Baltimore are 10-0 SU in their last 10 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Baltimore's last 9 games against Pittsburgh.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants
4:25 PM
Line: PHI -13.5 (-109)
Total: 45 (-110)

Philadelphia is 15-4 SU in its last 19 games vs the NFC East.

Philadelphia is 10-2 SU and 9-3 ATS in its past 12 games at New York.

New York is 4-13 SU in its last 17 games vs the NFC East.

Philadelphia News & Notes

Carson Wentz finally turned in an MVP-caliber performance for his team in a virtually must-win situation vs Dallas, completing 31 of 40 passes for 319 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions.

The fourth-year quarterback has yet to play in the postseason himself, so the motivation could not be much higher for him heading into the regular-season finale. Wentz helped the Eagles overcome a myriad of injuries against the Cowboys, and their defense also stepped up to shut down what was previously a dangerous offensive attack.

The Giants may not present them with the same kind of issues, especially because quarterback Daniel Jones is still a rookie. But running back Saquon Barkley could be difficult to stop after showcasing his all-around skills with 189 rushing yards, 90 receiving yards and two touchdowns in last week’s 41-35 overtime victory against the Washington Redskins.

NY Giants are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

The total has gone OVER in 6 of NY Giants' last 8 games.

NY Giants are 2-9 SU in their last 11 games.

The total has gone OVER in 6 of NY Giants' last 8 games against Philadelphia.

New York News & Notes

Barkley’s performance at Washington was outstanding, but Jones also played beyond his years with a career-high 352 passing yards and five touchdowns himself.

New York may or may not keep head coach Pat Shurmur around next season, and he could be coaching for his job in this spot knowing first-hand that the future looks bright in the Big Apple with an offense centered around Barkley and Jones. This is the perfect situation for him, although management might feel differently and want to head in a different direction.

While the pressure is definitely on him, there should not be any on the players to perform. Instead, they should be playing loose and relish the spoiler role in trying to keep Philly out of the playoffs.

Philadelphia are 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Philadelphia's last 7 games.

Philadelphia are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against NY Giants.

Philadelphia are 6-0 SU in their last 6 games against NY Giants.

San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks
8:25 PM
Line: SF -3 (-111)
Total: 45.5 (-110)

The 49ers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games after consecutive home games.

The Seahawks are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games at home.

The 49ers are 1-11 SU in their last 12 games vs the Seahawks.

San Francisco News & Notes

Defensive lineman Dee Ford will miss Week 17 due to a nagging hamstring injury. Fellow lineman Jullian Taylor and safety Jaquiski Tartt are questionable.

After fumbling twice in the Week 15 loss to the Falcons, Matt Breida didn’t earn one offensive touch against the Rams. The two-headed committee of Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman combined for 88 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Kyle Shanahan has to be drooling at the possibilities after Arizona’s Kenyan Drake rushed 24 times for 166 yards and two touchdowns against Seattle.

If you strip out the 48-46 slugfest in New Orleans, Jimmy Garoppolo has averaged 204 passing yards in three of his past four games with only three passing touchdowns and two interceptions. It’s becoming more evident that his reliance on George Kittle in the passing game may be hindering the evolution and balance of the 49ers passing game. Don’t be surprised if San Francisco leans on the run this weekend, which could make the UNDER tempting.

The total has gone OVER in 7 of San Francisco's last 9 games.

San Francisco are 12-3 SU in their last 15 games.

San Francisco are 3-14 ATS in their last 17 games against Seattle.

San Francisco are 1-11 SU in their last 12 games against Seattle.

Seattle News & Notes

Seahawks running back Chris Carson has a fractured hip and is out for the season. His 1,230 rush yards account for 59.3 percent of Seattle’s rush production this season. Just like that, poof, Carson’s gone. Typically it would be next man up, but the team’s RB2 Rashaad Penny is on injured reserve and RB3 C.J. Prosise broke his arm in the loss to the Cardinals. Seattle’s now desperate to fill multiple running back positions. How desperate? Well ...

One other notable Seahawks injury is Duane Brown. The offensive tackle will miss the next two to three weeks due to a knee injury and surgery. So, whichever running back committee Pete Carroll elects to implement will be running behind a downgraded O-line that has to contend with San Francisco’s pass rush, which sacked Russell Wilson five times in the first meeting.

Seattle’s offense converted just one of 12 third downs in the loss to Arizona and the defense allowed 6.0 yards per play to a Cardinals offense that was missing Kyler Murray for half the game due to a hamstring injury.

When the Seahawks beat San Francisco back in Week 10, Seattle managed to overcome four turnovers and Carson rushed 25 times for 89 yards with a touchdown. This weekend’s matchup is apples to oranges with Seattle hobbled.

Seattle are 9-3 SU in their last 12 games.

The total has gone OVER in 6 of Seattle's last 8 games against San Francisco.

Seattle are 9-3 SU in their last 12 games at home.

Seattle are 8-0 SU in their last 8 games when playing at home against San Francisco.
