Las Vegas Raiders @ New England Patriots

NE -6.5 (-108)

O/U  47 (-109)

Las Vegas is 5-2 ATS in its last 7 September games.

New England is 17-3 SU in its last 20 home games.

The OVER is 4-2 in New England’s last 6 games.

Las Vegas News & Notes

When the New Orleans Saints jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead in the first quarter against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night, it looked as though the Raiders were in for a long night. But unlike Raiders teams of the past that might have folded after the slow start, this year’s squad fought back and outscored New Orleans 34-14 the rest of the way, securing an impressive win in their first home game in Las Vegas. Derek Carr went 28-for-38 for 282 passing yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions as he outdueled veteran Drew Brees. Las Vegas has now scored 34 points in back-to-back games. With an elite running back in Josh Jacobs and an elite tight end in Darren Waller, this Raiders offense looks like the real deal.

Las Vegas are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Las Vegas' last 9 games.

Las Vegas are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against New England.

Las Vegas are 0-5 SU in their last 5 games against New England.

New England News & Notes

Cam Newton’s career in New England is off to an excellent start. The former NFL MVP has rushed for two touchdowns in each of his first two games with the Patriots and he showed off his arm in last week’s 35-30 loss to the Seattle Seahawks with 397 passing yards. If not for an uncharacteristicly poor day from the defense, New England should be 2-0, and only lost on Sunday due to a goal-line stand. Any questions about whether Newton and Bill Belichick would sync together on offense have already been answered. If the Patriots are able to return to form on defense, after finishing 2019 with the best total defense and scoring defense in the NFL, they should be right back in contention for the top spot in the AFC again this season.

New England are 3-6 ATS in their last 9 games.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of New England's last 6 games.

New England are 14-6 SU in their last 20 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 6 of New England's last 8 games against Las Vegas.

Dallas Cowboys @ Seattle Seahawks

SEA - 4.5 (-107)

O/U 56.5 (-109)

The OVER is 4-2 in Dallas’ last 6 games.

Dallas is 1-4 SU in its last 5 road games.

Seattle is 6-0 in its last 6 games vs the NFC East.

Dallas News & Notes

The Dallas Cowboys have not had any trouble scoring this season. Loaded from top to bottom, the Cowboys boast maybe the best trio of receivers in the league in Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and rookie CeeDee Lamb, as well as all-world running back Ezekiel Elliott. Dak Prescott has already passed for 716 yards through two games, third in the league, and the party should not stop in Week 3. The problem for Dallas has been its defense. The Cowboys were shredded by Matt Ryan and the Falcons in Week 2, giving up 39 points in the process and narrowly escaping with an improbable win on a last-second onside kick recovery and a subsequent field goal. Now, the Cowboys go on the road to Seattle to face early MVP favorite Russell Wilson. Dallas will need more from its defense in this one.

Dallas are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Dallas' last 6 games.

Dallas are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games against Seattle.

Dallas are 2-4 SU in their last 6 games against Seattle.

Seattle News & Notes

Wilson has been almost flawless in two weeks. He sports an absurd 82.5 percent completion rate as he has missed on just 11 of 63 pass attempts. He also leads the league with nine touchdowns and it has become clear notoriously conservative head coach Pete Carroll is finally taking off the reins and “letting Russ cook.” Receivers D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett could both be in for big days against the Cowboys’ Swiss-cheese defense. On defense, the Seahawks will need to clean some things up, particularly through the air as they have the 28th-ranked pass defense by DVOA (efficiency) according to Football Outsiders.

Seattle are 12-5 SU in their last 17 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Seattle's last 11 games against Dallas.

Seattle are 10-4 SU in their last 14 games at home.

The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Seattle's last 5 games when playing at home against Dallas.

Green Bay Packers @ New Orlean Saints

NO -3 (-111)

O/U 53(-110)

Green Bay is 6-1 ATS over its last 7 September games

New Orleans is 13-4 SU over its last 17 games

The OVER is 8-1 in New Orleans’ last 9 games vs Green Bay

Green Bay News & Notes

Aaron Rodgers is off to an impressive start to the 2020 season with 604 passing yards and six passing touchdowns through Green Bay’s first two games. Aaron Jones also had a career day in the Packers’ 42-21 win over the Detroit Lions last Sunday, rushing for 168 yards and two touchdowns while adding 68 receiving yards and a TD reception as well. The Packers are averaging a staggering 42.5 points per game over their 2-0 SU and ATS start. Green Bay went 14-3 SU and 11-6 ATS last season before losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC championship game. With the 49ers dealing with a ton of key injuries and the Packers offense off to such a strong start, Green Bay could be the team to beat in the NFC right now.

Green Bay are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Green Bay's last 5 games

Green Bay are 8-1 SU in their last 9 games

Green Bay are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against New Orleans

New Orleans News & Notes

Alvin Kamara carried the ball 13 times for 79 rushing yards and two touchdowns and caught nine passes for 95 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders. But his strong game was wasted in a 34-24 road loss that saw the Saints fall to 1-1 SU and ATS on the season.

Michael Thomas’s absence was clearly felt in the passing game; Tre’Quan Smith led the wide receiving corps with five catches and 86 receiving yards while no other receiver had more than three catches or 25 receiving yards.

The New Orleans defense didn’t have much of an answer for Derek Carr on Monday night as the Raiders quarterback finished the night with 282 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. That defensive performance doesn’t inspire much confidence heading into this showdown with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

New Orleans are 12-5 ATS in their last 17 games

The total has gone OVER in 4 of New Orleans' last 5 games

New Orleans are 13-4 SU in their last 17 games

The total has gone OVER in 8 of New Orleans' last 9 games against Green Bay
