Green Bay Packers @ Houston Texans

1:00 PM

GB -3 (-115)

O/U  57 (-110)

Green Bay is 10-0 ATS in its last 10 games following an ATS loss.

Houston is 0-6 SU and ATS in its last 6 games as an underdog.

The OVER is 5-2 in each team’s last 7 games.

Green Bay News & Notes

After winning their first four outings by an average of nearly 13 points, the Packers finally hit some turbulence last week in Tampa Bay. Green Bay allowed 38 unanswered points to the Bucs in a 38-10 rout that had coaches and players questioning the team’s work ethic.

“I think we need to take a good look at our practice habits,” said Aaron Rodgers, who was picked twice, sacked four times and hit numerous other times throughout the game.

Rodgers may be under pressure once again this week if David Bakhtiari isn’t able to suit up. The All-Pro left tackle, who has played 48 consecutive regular-season games, left last week’s loss with a chest injury and his status for this week is uncertain.

The good news for the Pack is that they have a stellar history of bouncing back from subpar efforts. Green Bay is a sizzling 10-0 ATS in its last 10 games following a game in which it didn’t cover the spread, and the Packers are 5-0 SU and ATS in their last five following a SU loss.

Green Bay are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

The total has gone OVER in 5 of Green Bay's last 7 games.

Green Bay are 10-2 SU in their last 12 games.

Green Bay are 5-2 SU in their last 7 games on the road.

Houston News & Notes

The Texans entered last week’s action with the 31st-ranked run defense and things only got worse against the Titans. Houston allowed Tennessee to rumble for 263 yards on the ground, highlighted by a 94-yard touchdown run by Derrick Henry. Henry finished the day with 212 rushing yards, many of them coming before the hulking back was even contacted by a Houston defender.

Houston also ranks 26th in points allowed and 30th in total yards, forcing the Texans to go through the air a lot more than they might like. Deshaun Watson has thrown for 694 yards and seven touchdowns over the past two weeks, and Will Fuller has become his favorite target. Fuller caught six balls for 123 yards and a touchdown vs the Titans, the fourth straight game in which he’s found the end zone.

Houston are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games.

The total has gone OVER in 5 of Houston's last 7 games.

Houston are 1-6 SU in their last 7 games.

Houston are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games at home.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Las Vegas Raiders

4:25 PM

TB -4 (-107)

O/U 52 (-110)

The Buccaneers are 8-21 SU in their last 29 games on the road.

The Raiders are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games at home.

The total has gone OVER in the Raiders’ last 5 games.

Tampa Bay News & Notes

The Buccaneers, coming off an impressive win over the previously undefeated Green Bay Packers, enter Week 7 playing as well as anyone on offense and defense. The Bucs sport a +55 point differential that is the best in the NFC and third in the league behind Baltimore and Pittsburgh.

The Bucs defense has been the backbone of their success this season, allowing just 4.6 yards per play (first) and 3.0 yards per rush (first) and forcing 11 turnovers (tied for second).

On offense, look for running back Ronald Jones to continue his successful season. Jones has rushed for over 100 yards in three straight games and the Raiders have allowed a league-high 10 touchdowns on the ground as well as 4.8 yards per carry, eighth highest in the league.

The total has gone OVER in 15 of Tampa Bay's last 20 games.

Tampa Bay are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games.

Tampa Bay are 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games against Las Vegas.

Tampa Bay are 3-7 SU in their last 10 games against Las Vegas.

Las Vegas News & Notes

The Raiders defense has been an issue for the team so far this season. Las Vegas has allowed the third-most yards per play and has been poor against both the run and pass.

But the Raiders offense has been productive and efficient with Derek Carr at the helm. Carr has 11 touchdown passes and just one interception to go along with a top-10 yards per attempt (eighth), quarterback rating (second) and QBR (seventh).

With the Raiders defense struggling and the Buccaneers fielding the league’s best run defense, Carr could be forced to throw more than the Raiders would like. Look for rookie wide receiver Henry Ruggs to be the beneficiary as the Raiders air the ball out in a game with a high point total.

Las Vegas are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games.

The total has gone OVER in 5 of Las Vegas' last 5 games.

The total has gone OVER in 6 of Las Vegas' last 6 games against Tampa Bay.

Las Vegas are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games at home.

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals

8:20 PM

SEA -3.5 (-110)

O/U 54.5 (-108)

The Seahawks are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

The Seahawks are 10-2 SU in their last 12 road games.

The UNDER is 5-1 in Arizona’s last 6 games.

Seattle News & Notes

Many experts have Seattle pegged as the best team in the NFL thanks to a perfect record and the MVP favorite in quarterback Russell Wilson. The problem is, the expectations are so high for the Seahawks that there is nowhere to go but down – unless of course they keep winning and covering the spread.

The biggest weakness for them remains a porous defense that ranks dead last in the league in yards allowed with 471.2 per game, including an NFL-worst 370.4 through the air.

Seattle simply cannot continue to play that poorly defensively in order to make another Super Bowl run, although Wilson’s numbers would likely become even more inflated because he would be required to do even more on offense. This will be a good test, though, on the road against a tough divisional opponent.

Seattle are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Seattle's last 6 games.

Seattle are 5-0 SU in their last 5 games.

Seattle are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against Arizona.

Arizona News & Notes

The Cardinals have picked up their biggest wins of the season away from home so far, making this almost a must-win situation if they have hopes of winning the NFC West.

Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray did not have to throw the ball much at Dallas last week, completing nine of 24 passes for 188 yards with two touchdowns that went to wide receiver Christian Kirk for a total of 86 yards. Murray also ran 10 times for 74 yards and added a rushing touchdown, showing how dangerous he is as a runner as well.

Defensively, the Cardinals turned in a solid effort vs the Cowboys in limiting them to 10 points, but again you need to take that with a grain of salt and consider their opponent was playing with Andy Dalton under center and not Dak Prescott. This will be a much bigger challenge.

Arizona are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Arizona's last 6 games.

Arizona are 6-3 SU in their last 9 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Arizona's last 9 games against Seattle.
