Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints

1:00 PM

NO -4 (-103)

O/U  49.5 (-107)

Atlanta is 6-2 SU and 7-1 ATS in its last 8 road games.

New Orleans is 6-0 SU in its last 6 games (avg. margin: 10.7).

The UNDER is 5-1 in the last 5 meetings.

Atlanta News & Notes

The Falcons have been an entirely different team since firing coach Dan Quinn after a 0-5 start. Atlanta is 3-1 SU and ATS since, and the only loss came by a point against Detroit in a game the Falcons would have won if Todd Gurley had gone down at the goal line instead of scoring a TD late in regulation.

Improved defense has sparked the turnaround, with the Falcons holding four of their last five opponents to 23 points or less after giving up 30 or more in their first four games. Atlanta’s also coming off a bye, something it used to its advantage last year when it returned from a week off to stun the Saints 26-9 as a 14-point underdog.

Wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who leads the team in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches, could return from a mid-foot sprain that forced him to miss Atlanta’s most recent game.

The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Atlanta's last 6 games.

Atlanta are 3-6 SU in their last 9 games.

Atlanta are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against New Orleans.

Atlanta are 1-4 SU in their last 5 games against New Orleans.

New Orleans News & Notes

Brees is expected to be out for at least a few weeks after suffering fractured ribs and a collapsed lung in the Saints’ 27-13 win over San Francisco on Sunday. The future Hall of Famer led a pair of touchdown drives following the injury before sitting out the entire second half. Jameis Winston played the rest of the game, completing six of 10 passes for 63 yards in his first extensive action in a Saints uniform.

With their top quarterback out, the Saints relied on their defense and special teams to help them overcome an early 10-0 deficit. New Orleans allowed just 49 rushing yards, had two interceptions and recovered a pair of fumbled punts inside the San Francisco 25-yard line.

Alvin Kamara also saw increased usage as a pass catcher, recording seven of the Saints’ 14 receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown, part of a three-TD afternoon for the All-Pro running back.

Brees isn’t the only New Orleans player who is banged up this week. Wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith and tight end Josh Hill left the San Francisco game with concussion-like symptoms, while cornerback Marshon Lattimore, defensive tackle Malcom Brown and safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson also exited early with injuries.

The total has gone OVER in 7 of New Orleans' last 9 games.

New Orleans are 6-0 SU in their last 6 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 5 of New Orleans' last 6 games against Atlanta.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of New Orleans' last 5 games at home.

Green Bay Packers @ Indianapolis Colts

4:25 PM

IND -1.5 (-113)

O/U 51.5 (-108)

The Packers are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games vs the AFC.

The Colts are 17-3 SU in their last 20 games as home favorites.

The UNDER is 4-1 in the Colts’ last 5 games vs the NFC.

Green Bay News & Notes

The Packers failed to cover last time out, but it wasn’t Aaron Rodgers’ fault. He had yet another sensational game, throwing for 325 yards with a pair of touchdowns while helping Green Bay outgain Jacksonville by 135 total yards. Rodgers is a dark-horse MVP candidate but will meet his match Sunday against an Indy unit ranked No. 2 in the league in pass defense.

Things won’t be any easier for Packers running backs, who managed just 80 yards on 25 attempts in the victory over the Jaguars. Indianapolis allows just 91.8 rushing yards per game (third-fewest in the NFL) on a minuscule 3.5 yards per carry. The Colts have also limited opponents to seven rushing TDs in nine games; only five teams have surrendered fewer.

Green Bay are 6-3 ATS in their last 9 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Green Bay's last 6 games.

Green Bay are 13-3 SU in their last 16 games.

Green Bay are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games against Indianapolis.

Indianapolis News & Notes

The Colts have one of the most fascinating offenses in the league, though fantasy football players might disagree. Despite losing starting running back Marlon Mack in Week 1 and seeing veteran receiver T.Y. Hilton hit the skids, the Colts rank in the middle of the pack in yards per game – and with a defense as stout as Indy’s, that’s good enough for the division lead.

The catalyst: an offensive line that has been sensational so far, limiting opponents to just eight sacks. And that’s a welcome relief to first-year Colts quarterback Philip Rivers, who ranks 12th in the NFL in passing yards but has just 11 touchdown passes. The top DFS option of the week: receiver Michael Pittman Jr., who should fly under the radar but had 101 receiving yards last week.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Indianapolis' last 5 games.

Indianapolis are 6-2 SU in their last 8 games.

The total has gone OVER in 6 of Indianapolis' last 6 games against Green Bay.

The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Indianapolis' last 5 games at home.

Kanasa City Chiefs @ Las Vegas Raiders

8:20 PM

KC -7.5 (+101)

O/U 56.5 (+108jul)

The Raiders are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 divisional games.

The Chiefs are 9-0 SU in their last 9 divisional road games.

The UNDER is 6-2 in Las Vegas’ last 8 prime-time games.

Kansas City News & Notes

It is safe to say the Chiefs overlooked the Raiders the first time around, and that was even the case within the game when they were leading 21-10 in the second quarter.

Las Vegas battled back and was more than happy to go into halftime tied 24-24 before scoring 16 straight points after the intermission, with all of them coming in the fourth quarter. Kansas City was able to score one more touchdown with a two-point conversion, but it was too little, too late for the defending Super Bowl champions.

Bettors should expect a fired-up Chiefs team here seeking revenge for their only setback this year, and head coach Andy Reid even said he was upset that the Raiders took a victory lap around Arrowhead Stadium in their buses following their win, adding even more fuel to the fire.

Kansas City are 15-3 ATS in their last 18 games.

Kansas City are 17-1 SU in their last 18 games.

Kansas City are 10-5 ATS in their last 15 games against Las Vegas.

Kansas City are 5-1 SU in their last 6 games against Las Vegas.

Las Vegas News & Notes

The Las Vegas defense has come through big-time in helping the team win its last three games, holding the opposition to an average of less than 15 points since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers left Allegiant Stadium with a 45-20 victory in Week 7.

Last Sunday in a 37-12 rout of the Denver Broncos, the Raiders forced five turnovers, including four interceptions by quarterback Drew Lock. Las Vegas also used a strong rushing attack to overpower Denver, led by running back Josh Jacobs, who had 21 carries for 112 yards and two touchdowns.

Backup Devontae Booker added 16 carries for 81 yards and also scored twice while kicker Daniel Carlson rounded out the scoring with three field goals. With that kind of offense and defense, the Raiders will be tough for anyone to beat.

Las Vegas are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

The total has gone OVER in 7 of Las Vegas' last 9 games.

Las Vegas are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Las Vegas' last 10 games against Kansas City.
