Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs

1:00 PM

KC -7 (+102) as of 11:00 AM

O/U  55 (-108)

Los Angeles is 5-1 ATS in its last 6 games.

Kansas City is 1-11-1 ATS in its last 13 games.

The UNDER is 6-2 in Los Angeles’s last 8 games.

Chargers News & Notes

Justin Herbert recorded his 10th career 300-yard game with 338 passing yards and a touchdown pass last Sunday, but he also threw two interceptions in Los Angeles’s 20-17 loss at home to the Dallas Cowboys.

Herbert was intercepted in the end zone late in the third quarter when Keenan Allen slipped on his route just three plays after the Chargers had a touchdown pass nullified by a holding call.

Los Angeles was 5-0 SU and ATS over its previous five games, including a road win over Washington in Week 1, before the loss to Dallas. The Chargers snapped a three-game losing streak with a 38-21 win against the Chiefs when these two teams last met in January, though the Chiefs were resting their starters in that one.

LA Chargers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 6 of LA Chargers' last 8 games.

LA Chargers are 5-1 SU in their last 6 games.

LA Chargers are 5-10 ATS in their last 15 games against Kansas City.

Chiefs News & Notes

The Chiefs took a 21-17 lead into the half and extended that lead to 35-24 in the third quarter of their matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night. That lead would not hold up as Lamar Jackson led the Ravens on two touchdown drives down the stretch to secure a 36-35 upset win over the Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes finished the day with 343 passing yards and three touchdowns and Travis Kelce led the receiving corps with seven catches for 109 yards and a score.

While the offense should continue to produce at an elite level for as long as Mahomes is healthy, Kansas City’s defense is looking like it could be a concern in 2021. The Chiefs have been torched for 469 yards and 32.5 points per game through their first two games.

Kansas City are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games.

The total has gone OVER in 6 of Kansas City's last 9 games.

Kansas City are 13-3 SU in their last 16 games.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Kansas City's last 6 games against LA Chargers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Los Angeles Rams

4:25 PM

PICK EM (-108)

O/U 55 (-108)

The UNDER is 8-1 in LA’s last 9 home games.

LA is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games.

Tampa Bay is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games.

Bucs News & Notes

After their Super Bowl victory, many didn’t know what to expect with the Bucs and if the team would jell in the same way it did during the postseason run. Early on, the results have been excellent. The Buccaneers offense has looked like a machine and has produced back-to-back 30-point games.

Those efforts have seen them cover one game with a strong close, while in the other contest they couldn’t quite pull away from Dallas enough to get to the 9-point spread. Either way, nobody is satisfied, with Brady saying: “We were a little loose with the ball. I certainly wish I had made a few better throws. There’s a lot to build on.”

That type of attitude is what has allowed him to sustain success for a long period of time, and the Bucs look poised to do it again.

Tampa Bay are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

The total has gone OVER in 5 of Tampa Bay's last 7 games.

Tampa Bay are 10-0 SU in their last 10 games.

Tampa Bay are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games against LA Rams.

Rams News & Notes

If anyone had any doubts what Matthew Stafford could accomplish with a great offensive mind, we have an idea now. Stafford has been awesome so far, throwing for 599 yards in two games, and more importantly helping the Rams to 2-0.

After a Week 1 trouncing of the Bears, the Rams didn’t look quite as sharp on the road against Indy, which is to be expected early in the season. After all, the oddsmakers even called it – the line ended with the Rams giving 4 points and earning a three-point victory.

Even so, the Rams are 2-0 and McVay was effusive in his praise of Stafford: “He relishes those moments and he was at his best when his best was required.”

Either way, the Rams look like a team that could be frustrating to gauge this season, as they figure to face some big spreads as the year goes on.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of LA Rams' last 5 games.

LA Rams are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of LA Rams' last 5 games against Tampa Bay.

The total has gone UNDER in 8 of LA Rams' last 9 games at home.

Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers

8:20 PM

SF -3 (-113)

O/U 50.5 (-103)

Dallas is 3-8 ATS in its last 11 road games.

Los Angeles is 5-0 SU and ATS in its last 5 games.

The OVER is 6-2 in Dallas’ last 8 games.

Packers News & Notes

What a difference a week can make. One week after an abysmal performance in Green Bay’s 38-3 loss to the New Orleans Saints, Aaron Rodgers looked like his old MVP self on Monday night, going 22-for-27 with 255 passing yards and four passing touchdowns in the Packers’ 35-17 win over the Detroit Lions. The Lions carried a 17-14 lead into the half, but the second half was all Green Bay.

Aaron Jones had a monster game in the win, swinging plenty of fantasy football matchups around the world with his 115 total yards and four touchdowns. All of this after recording only nine rushing yards and 13 receiving yards in Week 1.

Look for Jones to potentially have another big night on Sunday against a 49ers defense that is allowing 133.5 rushing yards per game thus far in 2021.

Green Bay are 4-2 ATS in their last 6 games.

The total has gone OVER in 5 of Green Bay's last 6 games.

Green Bay are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games.

Green Bay are 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 games against San Francisco.

49ers News & Notes

Jimmy Garoppolo completed 22 of 30 pass attempts in Sunday’s 17-11 win over the Philadelphia Eagles for 189 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for 20 yards and a major.

San Francisco’s injury woes continued in the win as starting running back Elijah Mitchell injured his shoulder and backup running backs JaMycal Hasty (high-ankle sprain) and Trey Sermon (concussion) were knocked out of the game as well.

Mitchell and Sermon are questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Packers while Hasty has been ruled out. The 49ers lost Raheem Mostert to a season-ending knee injury in Week 1. For a team that relies heavily on its running game to set the tempo on offense, this injury list is quite worrisome.

The total has gone OVER in 9 of San Francisco's last 12 games against Green Bay.

San Francisco are 1-7 SU in their last 8 games at home.

The total has gone OVER in 5 of San Francisco's last 7 games when playing at home against Green Bay.

San Francisco are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games against an opponent in the National Football Conference North division.
