With most NHL teams hitting the halfway mark this week, those trade winds are howling throught the league. Some interesting big name players may be on the block --- So lets dive right into the IBN "Ice Melt Rumors" BOOM!

  • Leafs shopping Phil Kessel and so far nibbles from Flames / Islanders / Blues : Western-Conf scout is saying the Flames have interest in Phil but thinks price is very high at this moment. Islanders have had slight interest in Mr Kessel and they have a few players of their own on the block. Disappointing defenseman Komisarek obviously wants out even if he doesn't pubicly admit it and yes multiple teams have slight interest including the Devils / Kings still nothing imminent are remotely hot at this time.. Komi will be dealt just not yet.

  • Islanders put Kyle Okposo on the block early in the year but not much interest , he has picked up his play last 2-3 games so expect teams like Blues / Panthers / Wild all to check in on price for the underachieving winger -- Josh Bailey is someone the Islanders would like to hold onto but if a team makes a good offer they won't hesitate making a deal, rumors are the Leafs / Panthers / Wings / Blue Jackets have all had some interest in Josh...

  • Rags ok ok my fault.... Rangers are shopping for 3rd line help, Torts has been pleading for the GM to find him some more grit and they may very well be making a move to address that weakness in the next 7-10 days.. The big rumor that just will not go away is Rangers & Bruins keep monitoring Jarome Iginla (Flames Fwd) but we all know Jarome loves Calgary and every year his name comes up in rumors nothing ever comes of it... not this year IBN i will say it now Jarome Iginla will be moved and Rangers or Bruins could be the destination.
